Fly-tipping
Fly-tipping is a blight on communities, can cause a number of environmental health problems. A dedicated hotline has been set up for any County Durham resident who witnesses incidents of fly-tipping. Calls will be treated with confidence and our fly-tipping officer will investigate and prosecute offenders if necessary.

Hazardous Waste Collection

Waste Permits

Waste Solution Project (WSP)
DCC has established the Waste Solution Project (WSP) in order to provide a long-term solution to County Durham's sustainable waste treatment requirements. The project aim is to deliver a waste-treatment solution that will manage waste and resources sustainably and economically, reduce pollution and adapt to climate change.
