The Durham Room
The Durham Room, a carpeted open area at the heart of the Council suite, has the attraction of flexibility.
Without seating, it holds up to 400 people, (250 seated) and is an ideal venue for presentations, exhibitions, a variety of fairs such as craft, computer and militaria, as well as possible social use.
Its high-ceilinged splendour lends itself well to formal occasions, and its excellent natural light from windows running the length of the room makes it highly suitable for large public displays and exhibitions.
